Wow, another year has passed us by and it's time to share the joys of Nomad Division for 2005.

As always, we had a fantastic turnout at the Division Pinewood Derby, once again held at Neighborhood Church in Modesto. The Outpost led by Commander Jeff Brown, were superb hosts, as they are every year.

The Section Commanders and their exceptional staffs did their customary outstanding job of keeping the race moving smoothly and in a timely manner.

We have a busy schedule every year with bike rodeos, Ranger prep camps, Section fishing derbies, and much more.

We held our second annual Division Merits camp. The turnout was down a little from the previous year but we still had a phenomenal camp. We were able to combine the Merit Camp with the Division Adventure Training Camp. Commander Larry Coughran and Pastor Fred Moore along with their super staff had a terrific ATC and all the Commanders at the Merit Camp were fabulous.

Lakeviw Assembly hosted the All Commanders Conference in 2005 and Century Assembly in Lodi was the host outpost in 2006.

All three Sections were very active in the training department in 2005, and we are planning a bigger push in 2006. Our Training Instructors are the most knowledgeable and concerned anywhere.

I want to publicly thank the three Section Commanders, Pastor Fred Moore, Bill Brooks, and Roy Scott along with their sensational staff members and all the extra help they had for making the Nomad Division the coolest place to be part of.

As we realize every day of the year all the great staffing and all that we as Commanders can do is fruitless without the guidance from our Master Ranger, Jesus Christ, to Him be the Glory.

I also want to thank my loving and praying wife Linn. .

In the Master’s Service,

Bob Bole
